Emeline Van Craenenbroeck graduated as a Medical Doctor in 2005 and obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences at the University of Antwerp in 2010. Currently, she is active as a clinical cardiologist subspecialized in heart failure, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiogenetics at the University Hospital of Antwerp. Her research is focused on the physiological effects of exercise training in heart failure and aims to discover new therapies by studying exercise-induced benefits. She is a board member of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology.
