Umair Sheikh Mohammad earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from ULB in 2023. Following his post-master’s period, he initiated his thesis within the Physiology and Pharmacology laboratory, led by Prof. L. Dewachter. The focus of his research was on studying the pathogenesis of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction in a rat model.
