Amina Khaldi is a cardiologist specializing in intensive care, graduated from the Erasme Hospital at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where she obtained her title in cardiology in 2016 and her specialization in intensive care in 2018. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in the experimental laboratory of intensive care at the ULB, focusing on the impact of beta blockers in reducing myocardial lesions during acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock. As president of the young Belgian cardiologists, she is committed to promoting access to mentoring, research and continuing education opportunities, to enrich the career paths of young cardiologists in Belgium. Her vision for Belgian cardiology is based on health accessible to all: promoting quality cardiology for every patient, everywhere in Belgium, by building a strong bridge between the academic and non-academic sectors. Passionate about research and clinical advances, she wishes to actively contribute to the development of a dynamic and united cardiology community.
