Prof. Dr. Nicolas Baeyens is a physiology and cardiovascular biomechanics professor and the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology director at the Faculty of Medicine of the Université libre de Bruxelles. His research interests revolve around mechanical homeostasis and include tissue repair, cardiovascular remodeling, and extracorporeal circulation.
