Yaël Vanharen, an experienced electrophysiology nurse, is currently pursuing a PhD in cardio-obstetrics.
Her commitment to improving the care of pregnant women with cardiovascular disease is both commendable and vital, as cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of mortality in pregnant women. Her work is characterised by a holistic approach, encompassing research and initiatives focused on improving health outcomes and providing essential psychosocial support to these vulnerable individuals during pregnancy.
Yaël Vanharen is also actively involved in the Belgian Working Group of Cardiovascular Nursing, where she serves as a board member. This additional role underlines her commitment to advancing cardiovascular nursing practice and further contributing to the development and progress of the field.
